Kristen & Tony’s Adare Wedding Day | Ireland Photographer

Happy St Patrick’s Day! Today is the perfect day to share images from our Adare Wedding from this past October! Ireland is a dream land for photographers. The grass must be the greenest on Earth. (Must be all that rain!)  Kristen and Tony married on Thursday, October 23rd.  I woke up early and headed to The Good Room for a coffee and scone. I grabbed all the groom’s attire so I could find a fun location to take some detailed shots along the way.  The town of Adare is adorable and the Irish are amongst the friendliest in the world. I don’t think we could have picked a better city for the wedding. Right across from the bakery was Holy Trinity Abbey so I took a few more shots of the church too! I wanted to document everything so everyone could remember the whole trip.    I returned back to the Adare Manor Villas to document our bride getting ready.  Kristen’s hair and makeup were absolutely gorgeous! Before the ceremony we took a few bridal portraits and a few portraits with her family before heading to the church!  They rented a vintage car to take her father and her to the church.  It was such a beautiful moment for her and her dad to share before he gave his daughter away. The ceremony was a traditional Catholic Mass. The florist laid down a red carpet which made the red in the stained glass pop! For me, it’s a remarkable experience to witness two tying the knot in a church with such history. Following the ceremony, we spent some time around Adare Park soaking in the greenery.  We were so fortunate that the rain held off until late evening so we had plenty of time to take photographs.  We made our way down some windy country roads to The Mustard Seed at the Echo Lodge for dinner. The emphasis of a Mustard Seed wedding is on a smaller, stylish, more select venue allowing for an intimate gathering of family and friends to enjoy beautiful surroundings and great food. Beautiful scenery with scrumptious food and an amazing staff  is what they delivered!!! From the moment we arrived, we were looked after.  We journeyed from room to room in the adorable restaurant enjoying cocktails and champagne along the way.  The dinner was top notch and so was the company. Before the night concluded, we stepped into the courtyard for some magic shots by the water fountain.  Ireland in Fall is the PERFECT time to celebrate a wedding….
